FBC Sac is called to be the SAFE space for all. A place where you can connect with GOD's love, redemptive POWER, GRACE and FORGIVENESS. WE are the place where all God's children can practice, JOY, HOPE, LOVE & Worship together.
We are HISTORIC, but not bound by traditions. We are BAPTIST, because we believe in the CEREMONY of starting a NEW LIFE in JESUS.
We know you will feel welcomed here, and our hope and prayer is that you will feel a special presence here at FBC Sac and return again, and share that presence with those you love.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and the only authoritative Word of God.
We believe that we are truly stronger and better together. We believe the church is the best place to start in bringing Diversity together, celebrating our differences and showing the world how amazing God is, by how we love each other.
BAPTISM
We are Baptist! We are the oldest Baptist Church in the capital city! We also believe That the Bible states that each follower of Christ should be baptized "in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit." (Matthew 28:19) and that it is an initial step toward becoming a disciple.
Yet who we are is much more than our description. We are a Baptist Church, that has members from every denomination. A church committed to the well-being of Midtown Sacramento and a church that welcomes all.
PRAYER
Prayer is what connects us to God. Prayer moves us to become more loving believers, more loving neighbors and better at loving those with no voice.
We are here to pray for you and your needs. The Bible says, "Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7). It is our privilege to go to God and pray for you. Each of us, individually and as a church, have seen God's provision whenever we have prayed to Him.
